Fletcher Allen Health Care, a dynamic health care facility located in beautiful Burlington, Vermont, has an opening for a full time Senior Internal Auditor.

Fletcher Allen is a 562-bed academic medical center affiliated with the University Of Vermont School Of Medicine. The Senior Internal Auditor is responsible for conducting operational and financial audits.  This position requires an understanding of general audit procedures, internal controls and knowledge of GAAP. Computer skills including use of database and spreadsheet tools, as well as general knowledge of computer systems and how to audit through them. A minimum of three (3) years of internal auditing and/or public accounting experience is required, preferably with a health care organization. 

Education:

A Bachelor's degree in a relevant area such as accounting or finance from an accredited college or university. Certified Internal Auditor (CIA), Certified Public Accountant (CPA) or candidate is strongly preferred.
