Association of Certified Fraud
Examiners This site serves primarily as an advertisement for the Association of Certified Fraud Examiners and the Certified Fraud Examination program. Any useful data appears to be in an area restricted to members only (CFE's registered at the site). National White Collar Crime Center This site contains background information on fraud and link to other agencies. National Fraud Information Center This site contains links to report incidents or to obtain information on previously reported activities. It also provides information on the latest fraud alerts, current news, and fraud statistics. The Security Group This site focuses on check fraud, counterfeiting, and forgery. It lists cash management services provided by banks to detect fraud and corporate controls to foil fraud.
Financial Accounting Standards Board (FASB) This site was established to improve standards of financial accounting and reporting for the guidance and education of the public, including users, auditors and users of financial information. It provides access to recently posted FASB documents and information, announcements of board actions, and summaries and status of FASB Statements and Exposure Drafts. The site also provides information on International Accounting Standards, access to the Financial Accounting Research System(FARS) and group study courses.
